Caramel

When made correctly, this delectable caramel makes great caramel apples. Recipe makes 18 apples 

  1. Combine in large saucepan
    • 2 c. sugar
    • 3/4 c. corn syrup
    • 1/2 c. butter
    • 1/2 can evaporated milk
  2. Heat to boil over medium heat before adding the remaining evaporated milk
  3. Add until 225° or until small amount of mixture dropped in cold water forms a firm 
  4. Place on sprayed plastic
