When made correctly, this delectable caramel makes great caramel apples. Recipe makes 18 apples
- Combine in large saucepan
- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 can evaporated milk
- Heat to boil over medium heat before adding the remaining evaporated milk
- Add until 225° or until small amount of mixture dropped in cold water forms a firm
- Place on sprayed plastic
