frosted orange rolls


  1. beat together

    • 3 T. butter

    • 1 T. grated orange peel

    • 2 t. orange juice

    • 1½ c. powdered sugar



  2. roll out sweet roll dough

  3. spread half of filling onto dough

  4. roll up dough, stargting at wide end

  5. cut roll into 12 pieces

  6. place slightly apart in greased round layer pan

  7. let rise until doubled

  8. bake 25-30 minutes

  9. frost with remaining frosting



  • yield: 12 rolls
