- preheat oven to 325º
- in a medium mixing bowl, combine
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 3 T. sugar
- cut in with pastry blender until mixure resembles fine crumbs
- 1/2 c. butter
- knead in
- 1/3 c. toasted sesame seeds
- on a lightly floured surface, roll dough 1/2 inch thick
- cut with cookie cutters or strips with a knife
- place on ungreased cookie sheet
- bake 25-30 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned
- yield: 24 cookies
