- Mix
- 1 pkg. yeast
- Warm water
- Sift into bowl
- 4 c. flour
- 3 t. baking powder
- 1 t. salt
- 3 t. sugar
- Cut in
- 3 T. shortening
- Add
- Around 1 c. water
- Let dough rest 20 minutes
- Roll out dough 1/4 inch thick
- Cut into squares
- Fry
- Dip in brown sugar

This Mexican recipe is used at Kansas Bible Camp's Around-the-World week. Makes 4 dozen.
