Some additions include:
- Blueberries
- Grated apple & cinnamon
- Orange peel and cranberries
- Whole wheat flakes (substitute some for flour)
- Whole wheat (substitute 1/2 flour for wheat flour
- Beat
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. oil
- Mix in just until moistened and lumpy
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- Bake in muffin cups 20-25 minutes at 400°
