- mix together
- 2 c. warm water
- 1 T. yeast
- knead in
- 3 T. corn syrup
- 2 T. molasses
- 1 t. oil
- 2 t. salt
- 4-5 c. flour
- shape into bagels, adding
- cinnamon sugar
- jalepeno slices/red pepper flakes
- garlic
- chopped onions/poppy seeds
- cheese
- allow to rise
- boil
- water
- 2 T. sugar
- drop bagels in water
- flip after 20 seconds
- bake 30 minutes on cookie sheet with cornmeal
- yield: 8 large bagels
