strawberry pie

crust

  1. mix

    • 1/4 c. brown sugar

    • 1/3 c. pecans

    • 1/2 c. butter

    • 1 c. flour



  2. pack in pan to form crust


topping

  1. cook until thick, then cool

    • 3 c. water

    • 4 T. cornstarch

    • 1 c. sugar

    • 2 t. lemon juice

    • 2 small boxes strawberry jello



  2. add

    • 4 c. fresh sliced strawberries




assembly

  1. pour strawberry mix onto crust

  2. chill until firm
