- preheat oven to 350º
- Cream
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- Blend in
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- Press evenly in bottom of ungreased baking ban
- Bake 12-15 minutes
- Mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 T. flour
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans
- spread mix over baked crust
- bake 20 minutes
- yield: 32 cookies
