pecan fingers


  1. preheat oven to 350º

  2. Cream

    • 1/4 c. shortening



    • 3/4 c. sugar



  3. Blend in

    • 1 1/2 c. flour



  4. Press evenly in bottom of ungreased baking ban

  5. Bake 12-15 minutes

  6. Mix

    • 2 eggs

    • 1 c. brown sugar

    • 2 T. flour

    • 1/2 t. baking powder

    • 1/2 t. salt

    • 1/2 t. vanilla

    • 1 c. pecans



  7. spread mix over baked crust

  8. bake 20 minutes



  • yield: 32 cookies
