oatmeal gingersnaps


  1. preheat oven to 375º

  2. mix

    • 1 1/2 c. flour

    • 1 c. sugar

    • 3/4 c. oatmeal

    • 1 t.  baking soda

    • 1 t. ginger

    • 1/4 t. cloves

    • 1/4 t. salt



  3. beat in for 2 minutes

    • 1/2 c. shortening

    • 1/4 c. molasses

    • 1 egg



  4. form into 1 inch balls

  5. roll in

    • sugar



  6. bake 8-10 minutes
