crispy raisin-pecan oatmeal cookies


  1. preheat oven to 350º

  2. beat well

    • 1 c. room temperature butter

    • 1 c. lightly packed brown sugar



  3. add and beat

    • 1 c. sugar

    • 2 eggs

    • 2 t. vanilla



  4. stir in

    • 1 1/2 c. flour

    • 1 t. baking powder

    • 1/2 t. cinnamon

    • 1 t. salt



  5. mix in

    • 3 c. oatmeal

    • 1 1/2 c. raisins

    • 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans



  6. place on greased cookie sheets

  7. flatten with hand

  8. bake 12-15 minutes



  • variation: may substitute raisins with craisins
